Role: Electronic Hardware Development Manager - Wireless

Description:

We are looking for a Hardware Development Manager with semiconductor exp. to be focus on hardware solutions design and development. Our client is an leading design, development and manufacture and you will supporting the Tier 1 customers with their bespoke system designs, providing system integration, testing and analysis of problems and responding to technical enquires pertaining to the design in a professional and competent manner.

The scope of the role extends across all aspects of hardware design, including providing key input into chip design, through to prototype PCB design, and application example design. You will overseeing all aspects of application example development, managing and advising a team of engineers who fulfil functions including chip-level design and specification, schematic capture, PCB design, including design for high frequency RF, hardware testing, and software / firmware.

Experience required:

  • Extensive experience in Development / Applications Engineering in a semiconductor environment
  • Knowledge of digital interface standards (SPI, USB etc.) and digital wireless systems
  • Previous experience of managing and leading a team of engineers
  • Developing / debugging hardware utilising complex SOC devices and testing
  • Commercial awareness
  • A degree in a relevant subject (Electronic or Software Engineering or equivalent)

Desired skills:

  • Software knowledge âembedded C, DSP and scripting languages
  • Broad knowledge or Bluetooth and/or 802.11a/b/g systems
  • Soldering and fine mechanical assembly skills
  • Wireless system hardware design, validation testing and/or certification
  • Experience of a customer facing role, innovative and dynamic personality

Role: Business Quality Administrator

Description:

We are looking for a Business Quality Administrator to take responsibility for on-going feature development and maintenance of Asset-i (company wide test asset database). Coordinate development and rollout of new features to support business needs. Ensure that all test equipment is calibrated and maintained to applicable international standards. Facilitate fulfilment of engineering test equipment requirements, either through internal loans or procurement of new equipment.

Support Document Controller in the administration of CogniDox and Oracle related activities plus other document management responsibilities (e.g. data management). You will be responsible for maintaining and managing Asset Management system (Asset-i) and control movement of test and measurement assets.

Experience required:

  • You will have general QA expertise organisation skills (e.g. coordinating activities across functions, arranging major calibration activities, prioritising and managing workload, etc)
  • Computer literate (office applications)
  • Attention to detail and understanding of ISO 9000
  • +1 year in either test & measurement environment and / or document control environment

Desired skills:

  • Internal QMS Auditor or Associate Member of IQA
  • Knowledge of static control processes, and the implications when handing electronic components
  • Experience of working with design engineers and in manufacturing (ideally in a technology company)
  • Good presentation skills; ability to train others in aspects of document management

Our client require an RF Technical Proposal Manager to Evaluate, Propose Solutions for and Project Manage solutions for their Fixed Earth Stations, Mobile Satellite Satcom, Microwave and Wireless Camera Diversity Systems working within their Global customer base.

This is an important role in this fast moving company and the ideal candidate will ideally be already working actively designing Fixed Earth Station (FES) solutions. You should understand the importants of Customer Interface, appreciate commercial imperatives of the business and be correctly perceived as an expert solutions provider. This role will report directly to the Divisional Sales Director.

  • Your role will be to Present Provisional and Detailed Engineering Solutions along with supporting the Sales Director, and other sales staff with Customer Presentations of Solutions and in Technical Systems Configuration Discussions
  • Negotiating with OEM equipment solution providers to ensure best value is obtained and stay current with OEM partners so offer ‘state of the art’ solutions
  • Developing a Technically competent solution which provides clients with a cost effective solution
  • Meeting / exceeding customer's needs and expectations of system delivery and cost effectiveness and project Management

Experience required:

  • You will have experience with Configuration / Solution Design of Fixed Earth Stations, Mobile / Portable Satellite (SNG), Microwave or Wireless Camera Diversity Systems
  • You will have previous systems experience in a related field of Secure Communications including in depth RF and base band knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of RF Solutions

  • Excellent Customer Awareness and service experience

Ideally you will have technical and commercial experience in the IP mobile, satellite or telecommunication services sector. You will understand the market developments of services and products associated with telecommunication services and associated IP Transit and other IP Network solutions.

Our client is a leading international provider of communications services to telephone operators and corporations. This role will be based in Central London but focuses on Europe / Africa.

Experience required:

  • You will have an in depth knowledge of IP products and solutions used in the telecommunications / mobile environment ideally with a sound knowledge of satellite communications
  • Good knowledge of IP products associated with mobile telephony operators
  • Understanding of internet access via mobile IP , data exchange networks or experience in GRX , IMS or MPLS
  • You will have good commercial / sales experience with an ability to understand technically complex solutions. Able to presenting business argument and preparing business planning documents

Our client, an international telecoms provider, is looking for a Marketing Manager to help to drive new marketing initiatives. Your role will be to support the company brand and assist the sales teams to achieve their business objectives, whilst ensuring that the key deliverables of the marketing plan are achieved on time and on budget.

Based in London you will report to the Marketing Director, you'll be responsible for delivery of the marketing plan across 17 African countries. As the first point of contact for marketing you’ll coordinate activities in our regional offices across Africa as well as Europe and North America.

Experience required:

This is a wide ranging and high profile role so you will therefore have a proven track record in marketing, copywriting and database management. You will be fully IT literate, with knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products as well as web design, and you will have highly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in B2B direct marketing, have a strong commercial grounding and possess excellent copywriting skills. Spoken and written French will be an advantage but not pre requisite. An understanding and passion for working in Africa is critical.
In terms of qualifications candidates are likely to be degree qualified. A marketing qualification (e.g. CIM) would be an advantage as would be Telecoms or Technology sector experience. Importantly, you’ll also be able to occasionally travel independently in Africa.

We are looking for a Senior Telecoms / IP Deployment Engineer for The Netherlands based in South Holland in Den Haag. You will work for a leading European provider of Telecom broadband and Internet IP services to the hospitality industry and will have a good knowledge or wireless networks, 802 11x, LAN and possible IPTV to large organisations. Your role will be to work with clients and understand and implement their IP and wireless network communications requirements provides recommendations, submit plans, project costing and negotiate contracts. You will have responsibility for managing projects along with the support of the NL team.

Experience required:

  • We are looking for senior IP / network / telecommunications engineer or telecoms deployment manager with 5 years experience and good customer relations exp.
  • You will have good knowledge of some of the following: Setting up IP access, 802.11x, LAN, WiFi, WLAN, local and wide area networks, ADSL and wireless-You have proven project management skills, experience of visiting and working with clients and a customer orientation.
  • IT / Telecommunication Deployment Manager experience would be ideal. It would be a bonus to have sales, or business development exp.
  • This role covers Amsterdam, Den Haag, Holland but you must be prepared and able to travel nationally.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
